Good Morning 

I would just like to update parents with our current position in School.  For the first time since March, I am delighted to share that we have children in School again.  Our school has been open for the children of essential workers and vulnerable pupils for a couple of weeks however there was no places needed until this week.

Tomorrow we see the return of the Y6 pupils who wished to return and I know that the staff are looking forward to seeing them again.  The class is all set up and ready for their return.

On Monday we will be hopefully welcoming all our Y1 children who have requested to return.  We have had 9 requests so Y1 staff are going to plan and organise the space tomorrow to see if we can accommodate them all within the stipulations of our risk assessment.  We will update Y1 parents tomorrow.

The following week we plan to be open for our Reception class.

For those parents whose children are in childcare and the returning Y6 pupils, on our website on Parent Information/Covid 19 Information there is our Home School agreement and a letter regarding arrangements for when your child returns.  There are also some photographs so your child knows what to expect.  Start/finish times and break times will be staggered to keep the children within their own cohort or "bubble".

Until parents are informed otherwise, the Year group return will just be for the morning sessions.  This is to ensure that all cohorts staffing is sustainable.  As already shared with parents, we may not be able to offer a place at a later date in your child's class, dependent on numbers.

The Seesaw home learning is still continuing for children who are not in school and it is brilliant to see our pupils engaging with this daily.
