Dear Parents
We have spent a lot of time over the holidays making sure that we have made the School as safe as we possibly can. We have had a super first day and the children have been amazing.
Now the support of parents is vital to ensure the safety of our children, staff, families and community. Please do not send your child to School if they are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19. You must seek and follow medical advice via 111 or 119 to book a test. If a child is showing symptoms, they need to stay at home for 10 days (and follow the stay at home guidance). Following a negative test result, and if they have not had a temperature for 48 hours and are well, they can return to the School.
For further information, the flow chart that the School uses to manage suspected and confirmed cases is on our Parent Information/Covid-19 section of the website. There is also more information in our Parent Handbook and the links below (also available on the website):
What parent and carers need to know about Schools in the autumn term
Drop Offs and Pick Ups – please remember the School doors open at 08:50 but School does not start until 09:00. It would ease congestion (especially at the front of the School - Y3/4) if children arrived between these times. If we feel that it is too busy and parents are not able to social distance, we may need to look at staggered start and finish times.
Any queries, please telephone, email or Jotter message.
