End of Term Reminders10 December 2020 (by admin) |
Just a few reminders for the last few days of the autumn term:
Christmas Cards - All Christmas cards needed to be posted in the class post box by tomorrow (Friday 11th).
Christmas Advent Trail - Entries need to be in by Monday 14th. It has been lovely to hear that so many of you have been around the village taking part. If any of you have photos, we would love to have them and share them on FB, especially for the parishoners at St Paul's to see.
Christmas Hampers - Food Hampers from the Copeland Christmas Food Project will be delivered to School for our Free School Meal pupils on Monday. We have also ordered some extra, so if your family, or a family you know of would benefit, please let us know. Details for collection to follow.
Christmas Dinner and Jumper Day - Christmas dinner is on Thursday 17th December. Children can wear their Christmas jumpers/outfits and do not need to wear School uniform - the more festive, the better!
Christingle - We will be having a Christingle service with Rev. Nicki on Friday 18th December. The children will be making their own Chrstingles to bring home with a treat from the church. Could we ask children to bring in an orange to School with them on Thursday, ready to make the Christingle. We have all the other bits needed. If you are unable to do this, please let us know so that we can help.
End of Term - School will close on Friday 18th December, 1:10pm for KS1 and 1:15 fror KS2. Collection will be from their current areas. All children should be collected and if your child is in KS2 and walking, they will need to bring a note giving them permission to walk home.
