Return to School5 March 2021 (by admin) |
Good Morning All
Just a few messages and reminders ready for next week:
- Information for Parents: If you have not already please read the info in our “Information for Parents – Full Re-opening of School March 2021.” If your device does not support the link, please visit our website Parent Information/Covid 19 Information. Please make sure that this information is shared with anyone in your household/childcare bubble who may be dropping off/collecting your child.
- Dinners – Please remember to pre-order your dinner at home.
- Fruit - Fruit is 75p per week and this will be £2.85 until Easter. If you would like your child to have fruit, please send a jotter message or email. Money should be brought in an envelope and handed to their teacher.
- Resources: Children will need to bring a water bottle, PE kit and their reading book to be returned. As before, the children are not to bring in their own hand sanitizer.
- Lateral Flow Tests – As already shared staff will be undertaking Lateral Flow Testing twice weekly. Primary School pupils do not need to do this.
Members of households, childcare or support bubbles of school staff and pupils
From 1 March 2021, if you’re a member of a household, childcare bubble or support bubble of staff or a pupil you can get a twice-weekly test:
- through your employer if they offer testing to employees
- at a local test site
- by collecting a home test kit from a test site
- by ordering a home test kit online
For more information please click the link here or visit our website Parent Information/Covid 19 Information.
New Information from Public Health Cumbria given to Schools:
‘If your child shows symptoms of COVID-19 (a new continuous cough, a temperature or a change to/loss of sense of taste and smell) please ensure your child gets tested and the entire household stays at home until the test result is known.
In addition, if any of our staff or pupils tests positive for COVID-19, please be aware that public health may advise us to ask pupils to get tested and isolate with a wider range of symptoms, including: headache, diarrhoea, severe fatigue and sore throat. I will let all parents and carers know immediately if we need to do this.’
Any questions about any of the above or the return to School, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Hopefully this will be the last lockdown home learning day!
Enjoy the weekend and I look forward to seeing you all on Monday.
Mrs Rose
