Welcome and Club Bookings9 September 2022 (by admin) |
Dear Parents
A very warm welcome back to you all and especially to our new children and their families.
Passing of her Majesty the Queen – Following the sad news of the Queen’s death yesterday, Rev. Nicki will be conducting a special assembly in School on Monday for the children. We will also make sure that we celebrate and give thanks to her remarkable 70 years’ of service. We will update you when we receive further information of the schedule of mourning, regarding any potential closure of the School. We have shared bereavement support materials with staff if any children become upset or require support. If you need any further advice on the best way to support your child, the NHS has some good advice and external links which you can access here. Whilst the children may not be directly affected by the death of the Queen, if they have been bereaved or if someone close to them is seriously ill, it may trigger their grief.
Newsletters – Further information will be sent out next week in our whole school newsletter and class newsletters.
Club Brochure - Our After School club brochure can be found here. The clubs are not open for our Reception pupils for the first half-term, to give them time to become familiar with staff and the School building. If your device does not support the link, you can find it on our website: Breakfast & After School Clubs/Club Brochures. All bookings can be made via the link at the bottom of the brochure and need to be completed by next Thursday am.
Any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Mrs Rose
