Dear Parents/Carers

Here are a few notices about next half term:

• Mrs Little is going to be off for a couple of weeks for a planned operation. Mrs Hampton will be covering the front desk for three mornings a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and therefore monies will only be collected on those mornings please.  If you are sending money in with your child, please can you ensure that the correct money is put in an envelope with details of what it is for.
• Reception Class are visiting Frizington Fire Station on the afternoon of Monday 31^st October at 1.30 pm. We do need three parent volunteers to come with us please.  If you are able to help, please can you let Miss Horner know.
• Forest School for Reception children will commence on Thursday 3^rd November in the afternoon. This will be every Thursday afternoon.  Children will need to bring in waterproof trousers, coat and wellies.  Again, we do need three parent volunteers please and we will only be able to go if we have enough adults.
• Fruit money for next half term for Year 1 to Year 6 children will be £5.55 and snack money for Reception children will be £7.20.
• Year 5/6 Residential: Thank you to everyone who has now paid their deposits.  Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee any further places but if you would like your child to attend and you have not put in an expression of interest, please speak directly to Mrs Rose.
• Just to let you know that we advertised for a teacher to fill Mrs Smith’s maternity leave commencing on 5^th December and we are delighted to let you know that Mrs Hampton will be returning to our School to take on this temporary position until Mrs Smith returns.
