Message from the School Nurse Team:
If you have not returned your green form but would like your child to be vaccinated, please call them on the following number: 01900 705867
Nasal Flu Vaccination: Information for Parents/Carers
The School Aged Immunisation team will be visiting your child’s school soon to deliver the nasal flu vaccinations.
For those children who receive the vaccination, serious side effects are uncommon. Children may often develop a runny or blocked nose, headache, general tiredness and some loss of appetite.
Further information can be found at:

In the unlikely event that you have any concerns please contact your own GP or 111.
For safety reasons we are unable to vaccinate any child who returns a form on the day of the session. There may be the option to give verbal consent over the telephone prior to the session (BUT NOT ON THE DAY). Please contact the immunisation nurses to discuss this on the number below.

Anti-Bullying Week:
Next week is anti-bullying week and we will be having special assemblies and raising awareness of bullying. To start the week and to celebrate difference, on Monday 14th, we will be having an “Odd-Sock Day.” There is no charge and it is still school uniform.
Reception and KS1 Wedding:
On Thursday 17th November all children from Rec and KS1 (Y1&2) will be attending St. Paul’s church to celebrate our very own wedding. This is part of the RE Curriculum which helps them to lean about the Christian faith. We would like the children to bring celebratory clothes (that take in to account the weather and walk to church). Clothes can be brought in on the day.
If you are able to volunteer to join us (wedding attire not necessary) please let us know -without additional adults, this trip will not be able to go ahead.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
