Club information and Phunky Foods (open to Y2)12 January 2023 (by admin) |
Good Afternoon All
Thank you to everyone for your club bookings. All children have their requested place in their chosen club(s). With the exception of KS2 Drumming, all clubs are full. If you would like a place for your child in the KS2 drumming club, please contact the school office as the booking form is now closed.
Please note attendance at all sessions is expected and you must inform the school office if your child is unable to attend. Children need to be collected by an adult or if they are in KS2 have a note to walk home – this can be written for the duration of the block.
Phunky Foods:
This is a fantastic club and a great opportunity to make some delicious meals with your child.
Unfortunately, at the moment we have not got enough families signed up. We are now opening up the club to Y2 families. We will make the decision as to whether or not the club can run on Monday dependent on numbers.
The sessions will involve cooking, making and eating a variety of quick, healthy, low priced, tasty dishes and snacks.
Spend time together… learn together… cook together… and then, if there’s time, eat together or take your dinner home!
The sessions will be led by Harriet Chappell (with Miss Goulding) from Phunky Foods who supports our healthy lifestyle learning in School. The sessions will run on Thursdays 19, 26 January and 2, 9, 16 February from 3.30-4.30 pm and can be attended by ONE child and ONE parent/carer per family.
All equipment and ingredients are provided free of charge – just bring yourselves, an open mind and a healthy appetite. We do require that you can commit to all 5 sessions - it is not possible to attend part of the course.
