Dear Parent / Carer

As I am sure you are aware from the media coverage, that there are plans for teachers in the NEU to take strike action.  We are therefore giving you advance notice of this so that you can potentially sort out some standby childcare arrangements if necessary but we cannot confirm whether we will be open or not until after our Governing Body next Tuesday evening.  Governors will need to determine appropriate staffing ratios for pupils.  The first confirmed strike date is 1^st February with three other potential dates, ie 15^th and 16^th March (for national schools) and 28^th February for North and North West schools (please note that these dates are subject to change).
