April Newsletter and Important Information28 April 2023 (by admin) |
Dear Parent / Carer
- April Newsletter: Please click the link here to access the April newsletter. If your device does not support the link, please note that there is a copy on the School website - Parents/Newsletters.
- KS2 (Y3-6) Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - deposits need to be in by next Wednesday please. We do need to know asap as we have to secure the number of seats at the Theatre. If you would like your child to come, but are unable to pay the deposit in time, please can you let us know by no later than Wednesday as we would like as many children to come as possible.
- Railings: To try and cut down on costs and save our budget, we have been working on the front railings as they were in a very poor state of disrepair. We now realise that this is a huge undertaking and would appreciate if any adults are able to come and give us their time and tools! Obviously, if you have an electric hand-grinder (and it needs to be plugged in) then this would need to be plugged in when School is open. Otherwise, you are more than welcome to have a go at any time!! We really would appreciate this.
- Reception Parents - Alien Picnic: Reception Class are going for an Alien Picnic next Thursday afternoon on the field behind School. We are asking that children come to School in the morning dressed in green please. Receptions parents are very welcome to join us and we would like to invite you to meet us at the field gate (just behind the fence) at 2.30 pm please. If you are unsure of this exact location, please do not hesitate to check this with Miss Horner.
- Bank Holiday and Strike Day Next Week: Children return to School on Wednesday 3rd May next week as Monday is a Bank Holiday and Tuesday is a Strike Day. Please note that the following Monday, 8th of May, is also a Bank Holiday.
- Coronation: Please see in the newsletter for further information. Please note that how we celebrate the Coronation depends on how much parental support we get on the Friday afternoon. If you are able to help with our Street Party – please let us know by next Wednesday.
Have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend.
Mrs Rose
