Dear Parent / Carer

1. Sports Day – Friday 14/07/23
   Due to the weather forecast for this Friday afternoon, we’ve taken the early decision to cancel the sports day afternoon. The children have already undertaken their team colour sporting activities - plus the Colour Run and the Easter sports day - so we don’t think they are missing out.  If we get a ‘dry’ opportunity, we will go up to the field and do the rest of the activities in the year groups without being restricted to a certain date / time. 

2. Family Bingo – Friday 14/07/23
   Just a reminder that it is our Family Bingo night this Friday from 6pm. Thank you for your generous donations – they are very much appreciated.  We will be selling refreshments and hot dogs.  If anyone is able to make and donate cakes, that would be wonderful (please could you let us know in advance)!  We will also have a raffle and a tombola.
   
3. Leavers’ Disco – Monday 17/07/23
   Our leavers’ disco is being held on Monday 17/07/23 from 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm. Tickets are available to purchase on the door (free to Year 6’s).  If your child is walking home, please can you provide a note confirming this.  Refreshments will be available to buy on the night.

4. Year 6 Leavers’ Assembly – Tuesday 18/07/23 at 2.30 pm
   The assembly is for Year 6 parents only – two adults per child and no siblings please.

5. School ends at 1.15 pm on Wednesday 19/07/23
   If your child is walking home next Wednesday afternoon, please send in a note.
