Dear Parent / Carer

Few reminders as follows:

• Forest School – Year 1 – Thursday 2^nd May:
  The weather forecast for tomorrow is sunshine all day and apparently, we will reach highs of 18 degrees, so we are asking that the Year 1 children have sun cream already applied at home and that they bring a sun hat/cap and long-sleeved top and pants please. Even if your child is not attending forest school tomorrow, please ensure that sun cream is applied before School on a daily basis in the warmer weather and that they wear their sun hat.
  
• Non-Uniform Day tomorrow:
  Just a reminder that it is our Cash 4 Kids fundraising day tomorrow so it is ‘non-uniform’ for the children. We are asking for a donation of £1 each please, thank you!
  
• School Meals – Yesterday’s Orders:
  Some of you may be aware following a message from us, that there was a technical issue with the School Hub yesterday and pre ordered meals were not showing up on the system.  We have today been informed by Orian, that they had carried out a slight change to the menu and they had cancelled a number of meals but unfortunately they did not then re-order the meals!   We can only apologise on their behalf for this error and for any inconvenience caused.

• Whooping Cough (Pertussis):
  We have received some information from the Public Health Team relating to a rise in Whooping Cough (also known as Pertussis) cases nationally and locally across Cumbria.
