Dear Parent / Carer

Here are a couple of important notices for your information:

• Update from Cumberland Council’s Highways Dept: In response to my communication with the Highways Dept this morning, they have confirmed that their “…. team has established a plan of action for your enquiry and we would like to tell you about it.  Our team has assessed your enquiry and request to allow parents onto the A5086 Main Street, in Frizington, during the current essential resurfacing works.  We have now agreed to allow access during this closure for parents etc.  The main works will not start until after 9:00 am, after which the road will be fully closed and works will commence.”  They have not confirmed the arrangements for home time though.

• Jotter login details for new Reception parents: Unfortunately, these login details are still not available from the Jotter app for new Reception parents due to a technical issue.  In the meantime, we will contact you via email relating to any individual messages.

• Year 6 Swimming commencing on 16/09/24: We are still looking for a parent volunteer to attend the five Year 6 swimming sessions starting on Monday 16/09/24 leaving School at 12.55 pm – if you are able to help, please can you let us know asap.

• After School Club bookings for Year 1 to Year 6 Children: Please don’t forget to book your child’s place by no later than 12.00 noon this Thursday – the booking form can be found here.

• Reception RWI Parents meeting: This meeting will take place at School on 24/09/24 at 3.20 pm.
