Dear Parent / Carer

Here are a few important reminders about forthcoming dates for your information:

• Thursday 12^th September: All after school club bookings and payments for Year 1 to Year 6 pupils need to be made via the School Hub by no later than 12.00 noon tomorrow afternoon please.  This is the link to the brochure here.  Confirmation of secured places will be confirmed tomorrow afternoon by the Jotter app.  At the moment, none of our Key Stage 2 Clubs are viable to run due to low take-up and these are clubs that the children requested.  We are therefore opening up KS2 Tennis Club to Year 1’s and Year 2’s as well.  Please ‘use them or lose them’.
  
• Monday 6^th September: Year 6’s are going swimming in the afternoon – payment needs to be made via the School Hub please.  We have an adult volunteer for this Monday afternoon but are looking for a parent volunteer for the remaining 4 sessions please.

• New parent governor: We are pleased to announce that Jonathan Mean is joining our Governing Body as a Parent Governor.  We still have vacancies for 2 co-opted governors (community).

• Jotter App for new Reception parents: We are still waiting for the Jotter login technical issue  to be resolved for new Reception parents.  Individual messages for Reception parents will continue to be sent by email.  Reception parents can still receive whole School / class messages through the Jotter.

• Open evenings for Year 6 pupils at our feeder schools are as follows: Thursday 19^th September between 5.00 pm and 7.00 pm at West Lakes Academy; Thursday 26^th September at 5.00 pm at St Benedict’s and Wednesday 2^nd October from 5.15 pm onwards at Whitehaven Academy.
