Dear Parent / Carer

Happy new year to you all!  Here are a few important notices about upcoming dates / events:

• After School Clubs: As stated in this week’s newsletter, after school clubs will commence on Monday 13^th January.  All bookings need to be made by the end of today via the School Hub.  Confirmation of places will be sent out via the Jotter tomorrow afternoon.  The brochure can be found here .If your device does not support the link,  it is also available on our School website: https://www.frizington-pri.cumbria.sch.uk/our-school/after-school-clubs/club-brochures
• FUNds4Us meeting: FUNds4Us are holding a meeting on Tuesday 14^th January at 3.30 pm to organise a possible ‘Movie Night’ on Tuesday 21^st January (if enough parent volunteers come forward to help).  All parents welcome.  Childcare will be available for our pupils whilst parents are in the meeting.
• Breakfast Club and Den bookings: Please note that all wraparound care bookings need to be made in advance due to staffing numbers - via the School Hub.  If you miss the booking deadline (2.00 pm for the Den and 3.30 pm for the Breakfast Club), please contact the School Office to see if there are any spaces available.  Unfortunately, due to the popularity of the Breakfast Club and Den, we cannot guarantee that we can accommodate any late booking requests.
• Icy / snowy conditions: Please take care whilst walking around the external School premises, ie the yard and car-parks.
• Reception Forest School – Thursday 16^th January: Children need to come into School dressed in their uniform and bring their forest school clothes in their forest school bag as usual. The other Forest School dates for the Reception class for this half-term are 30^th January and 13th February.
• Year 3 / 4 residential: The next instalment of £40 is due by Tuesday 14^th January via the School Hub please.
